The team took first place in all offshore categories. Youth Angler was presented to Katie Kindwall and Kim Harrington was third place over all Female Angler.   |

Weekday bottom fishing on My Time Out III in 140' of water produced Dolphin, Cobia, Barracuda, Grouper, Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Trigger fish, Sea Bass, King Mackerel, and Amber Jacks. The highlight of the day was Captain Ralph Worrell landing a 62.2 Amber Jack on a Torro Rod & Reel (non-electric). | Captain Frank Gibson of Beaufort, SC recently attended Marlin University in Panama. A female Pacific Blue Marlin over 500 lbs kept him busy for an hour and fifteen minutes standing up using a 30 reel. He stated the Captain of the Bushwacker a Costa Rica boat did an excellent job running down the fish after she dumped the line four different times because of only 7lbs of drag with 30lb test line. The Marlin was brought boat side for pictures and released unharmed.. | |
